We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or any other identifiers, nor do we remotely collect device information or usage data.
Font files always stay on your device and remain entirely under your control. No data leaves your device without your explicit action.
All font files are saved in the App’s Documents directory using the standard iOS sandbox mechanism, which prevents other apps from accessing your fonts. You can manage them at any time within the app, supporting single deletion.
When you uninstall iFonteer, the system automatically removes all related data, leaving no residual files. We do not sync your font library to external storage or iCloud unless you manually back it up via the iOS Files app — a process initiated solely by you.
iFonteer uses a local HTTP server (localhost‑only) to serve font configuration profiles to iOS Safari. This server runs exclusively on your device and does not expose any data to the external network or listen on public interfaces.
The local server exists solely to help you install or preview font profiles within Safari. The entire process occurs internally on your device, generates no internet traffic, and never transmits any data to third parties. Even if your device is connected to public Wi‑Fi, the service remains accessible only to the local loopback address (127.0.0.1) — it is secure and private by design.
iFonteer does not integrate any analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or other third‑party tracking services. No Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, Facebook SDK, or any other statistical tools are present. This means your actions, font preferences, and usage patterns are never disclosed to any third party.
We believe privacy is a fundamental right, which is why we architecturally exclude all telemetry components.
The font websites listed within the app are external links provided to help you discover open‑source or licensed font resources. iFonteer is not responsible for the content, downloads, or privacy practices of these websites.
We curate the font websites shown, but cannot guarantee real‑time changes in third‑party behavior. You decide whether to download fonts from these sites; once downloaded, font files are saved either to a location you choose via the Files app or directly imported into iFonteer for local management.
